The 2022 Executive Leaders Program began their cohort journey in March with an online introduction. However, it was great to be together face-to-face in sunny Brisbane for residential 1 in May with a focus on Leading Self; being led more by Jesus.

We are thrilled to have 26 executive leaders participate in this new cohort, with 40% from education and 60% from not-for-profit. With a mixture of roles; Deputy Principals, Heads of House/Year, Chaplains, Operations, Business Management, Health, Partnerships, Advocacy, Fundraising, National Team leaders, and CFOs.

We were incredibly blessed by great speakers presenting in key areas such as leadership, character, integrity and self deception. We had our very own Liesel Houghton looking at personal management, Cath Tallack sharing the word from Acts, and Liam Glover, setting up an incredible retreat afternoon as we dove into spiritual disciplines.

Dan Heaton, Deputy Head of Primary from Toowoomba Christian College shared this insight
A great mix of spiritual and practical leadership lessons. Such a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and be reminded of the breadth of God’s kingdom.

We were blessed to be able to have Ruth Limkin (Arrow 7) the CEO of the Banyans Medical Group, as our evening speaker, sharing her leadership journey and lessons with such openness and honesty.

There were so many highlights and stories from this cohort; here is just a few. Following on from Liesel’s personal management session, we heard back from a participant that cleared a 3000+ inbox down to under 20 within a week post residential. And no longer using e-mail as a task list but now have a system and process to help them lead more efficiently.

We had a participant who shared about the retreat afternoon and praying that God would bring some specific revelation and insight around a challenging team member. God really needed to do a miracle. The week following the retreat, that prayer was miraculously answered.

One participant was completing their 1:1 Coaching with their TMS profile, and gained some insights about themselves and their team, they reflected that “every dollar we have invested into Arrow was worth it for just this moment”. It helped them to grasp some significant challenges and team dynamics that they had been trying to work through for years. They suddenly felt unlocked.

I love hearing the impact that Arrow has on the lives, leadership and organizations as participants walk the arrow journey. And we’ve only just begun!
