I’m both honoured and humbled to step into the role of CEO for Arrow Leadership Australia. To say I’m excited about this new chapter would be an understatement, but I also want to acknowledge the weight of responsibility that comes with leading such an organisation at this time. Stepping into this position, I know I’m not alone. We have a remarkable community filled with capable, passionate people, from our team to our board, our contractors to our volunteers, our alumni to our partners. It’s these relationships that make Arrow truly unique, and I’m looking forward to building upon this incredible foundation.
Leadership, as we know, is a journey. And for me, this journey has been deeply personal. I’ve been shaped by the leaders who have come before me and those who have poured into me along the way. As I step into my role at Arrow, I carry with me not only the lessons learned from these leaders but also a commitment to pay forward the wisdom, patience, compassion, and resilience they have shown me.
Of course, stepping into this role isn’t without its challenges. I won’t pretend to have all the answers right now, but I want to approach this new chapter with openness and vulnerability. There will be learning moments, adjustments, and plenty of conversations along the way. My commitment to you is that I will lead with purpose, honesty, and curiosity. Together, I believe we can build on what’s already strong and create something even more meaningful as we move forward.
In these early months, my focus will be on reconnecting with our alumni, deepening our relationships with key partners, and ensuring we remain financially sustainable in our mission. I’ll be leaning on the wisdom and support of our community to help shape the path forward. Most importantly, I want us to stay true to our calling—to develop leaders who are not only effective but who are led more by Jesus, lead more like Jesus and lead more to Jesus.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role, and I’m excited about what the future holds for Arrow.
